Sun Dried Tomato Hummus

Sun Dried Tomato Hummus

Serving Size
Makes about 6 cups

Ingredients

  • 2 lemons
  • 2 (1 lb.) cans of garbanzo beans
  • 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 4 tablespoons tahina
  • 2 teaspoons ground cumin
  • 2-3 cloves of garlic
  • 1-2 ounces of water (preferably from the can)
  • 7-8 big sun dried tomato leaves (with oil from can)
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon pepper
  • 1 tablespoon paprika (optional)


  • Directions
    Mix all ingredients together (preferably in a food processor). It would be best to chop the garlic and sun dried tomato's by hand first to get the juices flowing. Serve with toasted pita bread.
